Will this fit with a stud behind the vent cover?

Being 30 inches long there is a stud running down the middle of the opening. Will this work to be installed with the stud?

If you're installing a linear slot diffuser with a single continuous neck, the stud will block part of the airflow and prevent a proper fit unless it’s cut or rerouted (not usually recommended for structural studs).
If you're able to install two smaller diffusers (e.g., two 15" units)—one on each side of the stud—that could be a workaround.
We do not recommend cutting into the stud unless a licensed contractor confirms it’s safe and not load-bearing.
