Hello,
If you close one of the diverters to direct airflow along the ceiling, the CFM will not be significantly affected. These vents are designed so that even when adjusting the louvers, some air will still pass through the closed side. The overall airflow remains largely unchanged, with only a minor shift in distribution rather than a major reduction in volume.
