The pre-screwed holes are located on the neck of the diffuser, and while it may be possible to secure it, over time, the weight of the vent could cause damage to the area where the screws are attached. For drop ceilings, it’s best to consider other options designed specifically for that type of installation to ensure long-term durability and stability.
